As you work with text type columns, you might need to perform operations like converting the case, trimming strings, removing whitespaces, padding text with leading characters and so on.

You can perform all these operations directly by using the Format option in the tool bar.

Select the Format menu dropdown and select the option relevant to your needs.

Convert

You have the options to convert the selected text to UPPERCASE, lowercase or Proper Case.

Trim

There are options to 'Trim leading and trailing whitespaces' and 'Trim leading and trailing quotes'

Remove

You can choose to remove whitespaces, symbols or accents from the text column using the appropriate option.

Add

You can define a prefix or a suffix to add to your text

You can also pad the text with some defined leading characters.

Format Specific Columns

Alternatively, you can access the Format options from the column dropdown menu
