How to access and use the Templates Gallery

Use Templates to accelerate your data engineering projects

You can now use one of Trifacta's curated, pre-built templates to jumpstart your data engineering use cases and wrangle your data better and faster.

Check out the new gallery of flow templates, which can be imported into your workspace. These templates are pre-configured to solve the most compelling loading and transformation use cases in the product.

Steps

1. Visit the Templates Gallery on Trifacta's website.
2. Browse to the template that you want to use and click on the card representing that template. In the image below, we want to use the template named, "Example of analyzing sales and marketing data".

3. You will be taken to the templates detail page. This page displays a screenshot of the template and provides a textual description of the content of the template.

To use the template in an existing Trifacta environment, you need to download the version of the template that matches your platform.

>If you use an AWS-hosted version of Trifacta, you should click the link that reads "Download template (Trifacta version)" to download the template zip file.
​

>If you use a GCP-hosted version of Trifacta, you should click the link that reads "Download template (Dataprep version)" to download the template zip file.

A zip file containing your selected template will download to your local machine.

4. After the template downloads, navigate to your Trifacta workspace. You can import the template zip file from the flows page
